  1. Sad, because the thing that made Jessica Jones, Daredevil and Luke Cage so great on Netflix, WAS the dark, grit and gore – which set it so far apart from the MCU (which was often campy by comparison).

The Netflix productions made the shows believable, emotional, realistic and human – you could relate to many things the characters were experiencing, and could be horrified along with them. Every MCU production I’ve watched has been fun, but fantastical.

I really hope they change their minds on this.

  2. I’d like to hope that the folks getting mad and planning to not watch it on Disney+ were being honest, but they still will in the end. This is just their opportunity to act like teenagers again before it airs.

  3. I find all the gore and over the top violence really boring. I prefer well-developed characters and compelling stories. The violence just feels like gratuitous filler. I found myself saying “okay, I get it. Everyone on the show is violent. Just get it over with so we can get on with the story.” I also fast forwarded through a lot of the violent scenes, because they waste my time. I might actually enjoy Daredevil this time around.
