  1. Stan Lee existed in the Marvel Comics Universe. There he was a writer of true crime and biography comics that covered the real-life exploits of superheroes. He showed up in “Fantastic Four” comics a few times. Presumably his fictional counterpart died when he did in real life.

  2. In 1979 when the Fantastic Four had a cartoon with Herbie the robot replaced the Human Torch. In the comics Jonny Storm said he was out of town when the contracts were signed. They would also visit the Marvel offices in the comics.
    In Captain America Steve Rogers was hired by Marvel comics to be the artist on the Captain America comic in the 80s.

  3. I recently watched episode 3 of the new Doctor Who with the audio commentary turned on, and in a scene near the end of the episode the audio commentary says the 4th wall is about to be broken. I cracked up laughing πŸ˜ƒ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜„
