  1. Whoever wrote this article didn’t watch the movie, shes a young furiosa, that would be like getting Alec Guinness to reprise his role as teenager obi wan.

  2. Well duh. Most of the time movies do better if you use famous, talented actors when possible. Otherwise you better have an amazing story where nobody cares who is in it

  3. We’re in a day and age where we’re dropping things to be able to afford things we need. We also have huge HDTVs and more comfortable digs and don’t mind waiting a month or two … or three?… to see a movie. There was one I would have liked to see in the theaters but I couldn’t find the time to go. I dropped $25 to own it. It’s not necessarily casting or even plot, it’s change.

  4. What waffle, I’m not sure why this film didn’t get the people through the door.. but I don’t think it’s because he used a different actress to play a younger version of furiouser

  5. Well, I loved it and I love Anya T-J but the recasting was pointless since the movie ends pretty much where Fury Road begins and the fact that it’s been almost 10 years since Fury Road doesn’t help. By Hollywood standard we should have seen the whole trilogy by now

  6. The lack of Max is the problem; hell, bring back Old Man Gibson. Folks in Hollywood who’ve done far worse than he has have been forgiven, and his name still draws crowds.

  7. I’m a max fan😀👍not a furiosa fan. Don’t use the mad max name, if ur not gonna have have max in the movie.😀👍 build ur own foundation & build from there. FURIOUS FURIOSA…now that i would watch😀👍

  8. Pretty much most movies are struggling at the box office. Basically it’s too much streaming at home, theaters are way too expensive and inflation is making everything pretty expensive.

  9. I’m all for women but I low-key want mad Max in a mad Max movie. Just makes sense I know this is a spin-off but let’s be realistic not many are going to be interested cuz it’s not mad Max

  10. “Do you want to pay $16/ticket to see this movie in a sticky lounge seat? Or do you want to wait two months to see the movie for free in your own living room, and you can press pause whenever you want?”

  11. No. It appears people just aren’t going to the movies like they used to…I still go to the movies but I don’t rush off to see a new film ASAP. I will be seeing Furiosa next week.
