  1. This was in 2020 when people just started to go crazy. CNN

Actor Rick Moranis, known for “Ghostbusters” and “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,” was randomly attacked by a stranger Thursday while walking in New York City’s Upper West Side.

The attack occurred in broad daylight, just before 7:30 a.m. on Central Park West near 70th Street, the New York Police Department said.

Video taken from surveillance cameras show the suspect walk toward Moranis, 67, and punch him in the head, knocking him to the ground.

  2. I feel like Ernie gets the short end of the stick a lot. I love Ernie. I finally watched the Melissa McCarthy Ghostbusters for the first time the other night and all I wanted to see was Ernie’s cameo. Don’t get me wrong, I love Bill Murray, and Dan Aykroyd, too. I also love Annie Potts, but I mainly wanted to see Ernie. He just seems like a nice person in real-life.

  3. Thank you for writing an informative headline that is not some rubbish click bait. I will read the link if only for your ethical online publishing. Was interesting as well.

  4. He made a decision to leave acting to raise his children after losing their mother. His career has been great, and he was very blessed. I assume he doesn’t need the money, and is happy with where he’s at and the decision he made.

  5. He has enough, he made enough and is happy enough to NOT have to continue . He knew when to walk away. My guess…..he seen some shiz and was like…..yeah this ain’t for me 👋🏻 Dark Helmet for life

  6. I want him to one day come out with an autobiographical film starring himself, and explaining his transition to full time father. The guy is a silent super hero story I think, and I think an old Rick Moranis hitting us with a serious role about his wife’s passing… if you left dry eyed you’d be a monster lol.

All that aside hope he’s enjoying retirement. Seems like a great guy.
