42 Replies to ““Resident Alien” may be relocating from Syfy to USA Network for its potential fourth season, amid talks of budget cuts. The move comes after NBCU’s shift in strategy due to economic pressures and the changing landscape of cable television.”

  1. Pretty soon the only programming on cable will be 10 year old movies that take 4 hours to watch because they have 10 minutes of commercials every 20 minutes or so. Everything worth watching is only on subscription services. One would think that’s the plan. 🤔

  2. Honestly I don’t care where it is made or what platform it is on as long as it continues to be produced and aired. AWESOME SHOW! I’ll follow it wherever it is.

  3. I wish the channels would stop being greedy. We can’t afford to buy everything we love to watch. I have Hulu and Peacock. For a little while longer. Ones going to have to go.

  4. I hope it gets another season, but season one and two are already on Netflix–that is where I discovered it! Whoever gets it, needs to keep up the quality writing!

  5. As long as we at least get a season 4 to wrap stuff up I’ll be content…leave me on a cliffhanger and I may not ever watch a new show on there again.

  6. As long as it gets renewed and they keep the writers and actors, it really doesn’t matter which network or streaming service it’s on.
We will find it and watch it!

  7. This would be sad and good at the same time. Sad because it would be moving from a streaming service that I currently pay for and I’m not getting Hulu plus just to watch the USA network programming.

I hope it airs on Netflix as well.

  8. No budget cuts please! This show is worth the investment, it just needs to be promoted better. Once you watch the first episode you’re hooked. The casting is amazing. All the characters just click, you don’t get that very often. Save this show plz!

  9. It’s almost worth just saying goodbye to TV costs too much we are already paying way to much to watch crappy cable and nothings ever on and the only draw to cable was the shows weekly but it’s just become a money grab and anthing good is cancelled or moved to streaming where they can make money. After being frustrated by watching a few seasons then they just cancel no matter how loved it is . I never even considered dropping cable before but I am now. We were great fans of great shows but those days are over. It’s all about money that’s why the strike happened as well screwing employees is also been accepted as just a part of the new Hollywood bull crap and profit hoarding.
